Bridget is a Registered Nurse after completing a Bachelor of Nursing 2018. Bridget spent her first 2.5 years in Primary Care as a Practice Nurse before joining Skin Institute. She has a strong interest in skin, with it being the largest organ of the human body.
Bridget is passionate about skin health and preventative care – this passion is sparked by a very close friend living with melanoma. She combines expert clinical skills with a patient-centred approach, aiming to improve outcomes through early diagnosis, education, and compassionate care.
In her spare time, she likes to keep active and be outdoors, so she enjoys being able to educate people on how to be SunSmart while doing the same. She has a young daughter so can appreciate the quest for finding the right sunscreen and bucket hat combination. Bridget’s professional patient manner shines through her commitment to her patients, creating an informative, relatable, and reassuring environment to create positive awareness about skin health and sun safety. Having always been a Tasman local she understands what it means to live long term in one of New Zealand’s sunniest regions.
